It all started in 6th grade when Coach Moore encouraged me to try volleyball. I was scared, but she believed in me and even pushed me to join club volleyball, which gave me confidence. The next year I made the school team and began training with her daughters, Ashlyn and Jaden, almost every day. They taught me drills, mental toughness, and how to love the game. That work helped me make varsity as a freshman.
Jaden made practices tough but fun, calling me out when I wasn’t giving my all and reminding me to enjoy the game. Ashlyn became a role model, inviting me to her college games and giving advice I still follow today.
Even though I’ve only played for three years, I keep improving every day because Coach Moore, Ashlyn, and Jaden continue to encourage me and push me to be my best both on and off the court.
